All that remains of dilute humanity ekes out an existence within, faced with existential threats of mankind's own making alongside horrors that aren't remotely human...."

In a future where pure humans are near extinct, where everything is unraveling from a center that cannot hold, take on the role of Reclaimer, a posthuman, mutant, or synthetic tasked with retrieving the Wise Blood and halting the decay of base reality. 

Reclaimer, newly reawakened: your Ego file in the Terminal Cloud was corrupted, so as expected you remember nothing of your past life, but should remember how to operate your cyborg body just fine. We have lost access to the Terminal, the machine intelligence that guides, coordinates, and directs the megastructure and its inhabitants. On the way, you must put together the pieces of who and what you are as best as you can. 

The Anisoptera, an alarmingly biodiverse insect hive mind known colloquially as Dragonflies, are outcompeting human-derived biological organisms. The Terminauts have awakened and now see all organic life, human or not, as an infestation to be exterminated with fire and sword. Worst of all, a quantum plague gnaws on the roots of the World Tree itself, spreading eldritch Qorruption everywhere.

You must descend into the Spine of All Worlds in search of the Wise Blood, a pure, uncorrupted, unaltered human genome that can restore our link with the Terminal and reboot it. And you'd best be ready for a fight.

Reclaimer is a turn-based, lore-rich science-fantasy dungeon-crawler with a focus on character customization and advancement, and slaying giant alien bugs, killer clockwork robots, and demons like a total badass. There is a story, but it is not front and center, you have to go looking for it, little bit by little bit. Reclaimer is inspired by Souls-likes and features some series of games, and is also a bit of a send up of the Doom franchise. Oh, can't forget BLAME!.
